Dear reader,
My name is Bosse Ursem, and I study Spatial Design at the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by buildings and everything related to them. I studied Built Environment at Hogeschool Utrecht for two years, but decided to stop early because I was looking for more creativity. That’s when I chose to make the switch to HKU.
Now that I’m studying Spatial Design, I feel completely at home. I find it fascinating to explore how spaces function and how people live within them. In my free time, I enjoy researching my hometown, Utrecht — I can often be found at the Utrecht Archives or browsing through their online photo collection.
I’m also very interested in maps and floor plans, probably because they allow me to understand how a place looks and works without ever having been there. In addition, I love drawing buildings, both on paper and in 3D software. I really enjoy solving problems and making the world a little better — or more beautiful — through spatial design.
